About Matotex

Matotex is a young, up-and-coming company in the textile industry. Many years ago, the company made a name for itself with the production of high-quality parachutes and rescue systems.

When the german manufacturer of paragliding equipment, Skywalk GmbH & Co. KG, started looking for a production in europe at the beginning of the 2010s, the latvian company was the first choice.

A huge know-how, high quality standards and best conditions for the employees were decisive for Skywalk to produce a part of its assortment first for the brand X GLOO in Latvia.
